In a series of dialog options, you attempt to describe the Winterpelt language to [npc=189401].
Spoiler
Ya said the Winterpelt were shouting things? That could be the key to unlocking this whole mystery! Could ya repeat what ya heard?
- <Repeat the growling furbolg sounds as best you're able.>
- <Roar loudly while lifting your arms in mimicry of a bear.>
- What? Do I look like a linguist to you?
If you say "What? Do I look like a linguist to you?", you get a special dialog option:
No, ya don't. But I do. Me family's been studying furbolg languages fer generations.
Now, are ya ready to give this a try?
- I am. <Growl out the furbolg as best you can.>
- If there's no other way. <Begrudgingly snarl out the unfamiliar syllables.>
- <Give a toothy grin around the low, rumbling sounds you mimic.>
All three options in this special dialog, as well as picking "Repeat the growling" or "Roar loudly" in the first dialog, receive the same reply:
Yes. Mhmm. Was that with a "gGch" or a "Ggch" at the end, there?
- GraagGch. Definitely.
- GraaGgch. With a downward inflection.
- <Growl uncertainly.>
All subsequent dialogs are the same regardless of what you answer. Sonova continues:
Right. Go on.
- <Recreate what you heard to the best of your ability.>
- <Swipe at the air while growling.>
- Grar?
Ah, yes. Indeed. And how deep in the throat was that last one?
- <Growl from the back of your throat.>
- <Rumble from deep within, engaging your diaphragm.>
- Like choking on a salmon.
That deep, you say? Interesting. Do keep going.
- <Imitate the rumbling vocalizations of the Winterpelt.>
- <Roar and snap your teeth at Sonova.>
- Imagine a bear yelling at you to get off its lawn while chewing on a log. It was like that.
Mhm. I see. And the grinding was all in the molars?
- All the way in the back, yes.
- <Gnash your teeth and growl.>
- Wait, do bears even have molars?
Sonova Snowden says: Aha! That'll do it!
and you are able to turn in the quest.

I belong to a group of RPers who are couriers/messengers/translators.
This is part of our guild jingle:
"Orcish, Common, Dwarven, troll or elf-
we even have some folks who can speak bear!"Today is my day to shine.
Curious if the old Tinbermaw furbolg fluency from vanilla makes any difference to this quest.
Would be really cool to put in a reference to it at least.

Description
Aye, sounds like a right mess up there--like a storm blew through and wrecked the whole place. I can see why they'd be up in arms, but why attack us? This would be a lot easier if we could just talk it out, but the Winterpelt are famously tight-lipped and don't seem to speak any of the common branches of Furbolg-ish. Furbolgian? Eh, ye know what I mean. I don't suppose ya happened to have a nice chat with any of 'em while ye were checking in on them, did ye?
