If you are horde, you will have to travel to Auberdine in Darkshore and take the boat. If you are looking straight down the docks, you want to take the boat on your right. It's a pinkish boat with a purple sail. It will take you to Rut'theran Villiage and you will have to take the portal into Darnassus. From there you just have to run through the city :)
