If you read this book after completing it and placing it in the sanctuary, it screams at you to not find the crimson pages of the other book. The book for the crimson pages does the same thing, telling you not to find the azure pages. It's a direct reference to the original MYST in which each of Atrus's sons is trapped in a book that require either red or blue pages, and spends the game telling you not to collect the pages for the other book.

to enter the portal you need [item=186731].

1. Buy it from [faction=2472] vendor - requires Tier 4 research

Description

<You hear a muffled voice speaking from within this book, interspersed with crackling static. Though the utterances are mostly unintelligible, you can make out the repeated request to recover azure pages. Flipping through the volume, you note that many of its pages are missing. If the pages were retrieved, the book could be returned to the Archivist and reassembled.>
