TheWoWDBFor those on the Alliance side, other than the walkway up the Valley of Heroes, a great place to find a few spots clustered together is just outside the Cathedral on the SW side. I found 4 here right next to each other. Otherwise, other stink bomb spots are scattered about (Mage district had a few).

Stink bomb looks like brown cloud on the ground. Just use quest item on it.
If you stay in this cloud, you'll get 2 min debuff "Stink Bombed!", which obviously can be removed by quest item.

Greetings, {class}! Are you enjoying Hallow's End? It seems that in response to our stink bombing the Undercity, the Horde has decided to stink bomb our city. The stink bombs they drop are more potent than the ones used in the past. The power of pine won't be enough. We will need something with a little more power. Use this Arcane Cleanser to remove the stink bombs from the city.
