There is a limit to how many of these can be turned in before the druids stop accepting more of them. If you are planning to loot these items, be sure to turn them in regularly or risk missing your chance. Once the maximum number has been reached, the druids will head off to summon Ivus, and that's the last you will see of them.
It takes 200 crystals to activate the Druids. They have a spawn time of 1 hour. So you can hand in 200 every hour, if your BG lasts that long
