Comfirmed:

If you loose your mask in any way, Wildlord Antelarion (the questgiver from the previous quest) will give you his duplicate. If you can't talk to the Legion Communicator, just reequip Mystery Mask and you'll be able to do it again.

Mind though, I don't think you can get any more Mystery Masks after you've used the duplicate.

Well then, every last one of them will pay for this treachery, they will pay dearly. Silence them all and be done with it! Report back to me once you have carried out my order or you shall be dealt with.
