TheWoWDBIn case anyone else is confused like I was, when you are on this quest when you gather Star Moss at any node, Fresh Star Moss is looted at the same time. No need to search for plants called "Fresh Star Moss" on their own- you'll struggle to find anything. :)

Star Moss is kinda special herb and it grows on the sides of the buildings, ruins, bridges.
You can find it inside towns and in the wild.The quest item can drop in every zone.
I can recommend you to go to Drustvar or Vol'dun or Tiragarde Sound.Here In Spirit quest can be started in Zuldazar from [npc=122704] herbalism trainer.

Description
If you are up to de challenge, I have a task dat I believe is up your alley. De spirits of dis land are screaming out in anguish. However, dey are either unwilling or unable to talk to me in their current state. I need you to get some fresh star moss, which will help anchor and calm their spirits. Once dey are calm, we will be able to give dem de help dey need. Do dis, and I will teach you how to harvest star moss more effectively.
