TheWoWDBDon't pick up this quest and start running trying to figure out how to get to Thousand Needles. There is another quest that will give you a flight from Mudsprocket in Dustwallow Marsh to where you are supposed to start in Thousand Needles, but you can't have both quests at once. Drop the Hero's Call quest and head to Mudsprocket in Dustwallow Marsh. Talk to Thyssiana and get the quest To New Thalanaar which will give you a free flight to where you should be going.
Do 1 quest there and you will get another free ride to the Speedbarge quest hub.

Picking this up at the appropriate level leaves us no way to get there.
Hero's call quests were a good idea but some of them don't quite work out for new players. You need a deep understanding of locations within the game to find them.
Good point! An alternative is to see Lieutenant Aden in Theramore (Dustwallow Marsh, 65,47). He gives you a quest, Mission to Mudsprocket. Once you complete this quest, find Thyssiana (Dustwallow Marsh, 41.8,73.8), and get the quest To New Thalanaar, which will take you to the quest line which brings you to Thousand Needles.

Description
By order of his royal highness, King Anduin Wrynn, all able-bodied citizens of the Alliance are to report to Caryssia Moonhunter at New Thalanaar at the border between Feralas and Thousand Needles. The sentinels need your help to turn back the marauding Grimtotem raiders who dominate the area. To reach New Thalaanar, travel to eastern Feralas, near the border with Thousand Needles. For the glory and honor of the Alliance!
