If you, like me, are above this raid level and frustrated that the sigil does not drop though you have left the tree guardians alone. The answer is simple.

Pull the trash, or not, up to you. Though a clear area is preferable when you're trying to single target adds while keeping Freya alive. Leave the three tree guardians untouched. Dismiss pet and NO AoE, again the goal is for Freya to stay alive long enough.

Engage Freya. Leave the trees that heal her alive as a safety precaution, they will despawn anyway and are negligible.

Keep Freya alive so she can call her Allies of Nature. She will then cast Strengthened Iron Roots. Pick off the adds as they spawn. I'm unclear whether this matters but it gives you something to do while you wait.

Once Freya casts Strengthened Iron Roots three (3) times, kill her. Your sigil will be in her chest.

Just verifying that as of right now, you can simply run in and 1-shot Freya to get this.
