History Lesson

This has got to be the epitome of bad writing by blizz dating all the way back to Legion. It still bothers me how blizz writes the Nightborne as the victims in all this mess.

You talk to Thalyssra and she's all like "the Kaldorei still resent us because of Elisande" and all I can think of is "YOU JOINED THE HORDE!". The very same faction that later burned down their home and nearly wiped out an entire civilization. Yet she accuses the night elves of "arrogance" and "mistrust". And everything we went through with Garrosh, please excuse some of us if we're a bit skeptical of Horde leadership decisions. Also, being a night elf player myself, I'm getting sick of being viewed as the bad guys when the blood elves have done far worse and they get all the praise for being so "good and honorable".

Let's recap what happened:

Elisande made a deal with the Legion and was willing to destroy Azeroth to ensure her people's survival (which makes zero sense).

Thalyssra didn't want to see this happen, so she sought help. Both Alliance and Horde sided with Thalyssra to usurp Elisande.

Then when confronted by Tyrande with the possibility that the Nightborne might become "power hungry" and "mad" again, Thalyssra was the one that got all offended and joined the Horde, enemy of the Alliance, essentially becoming the very thing that Tyrande was afraid they would, an enemy of the Alliance. Don't forget, the Alliance and Horde were still pretty much pissed at each other after coming out of Pandaria. Not to mention with Sylvanas becoming warchief, everything she was doing was driving a wedge between both factions anyway and what little bit of cooperation they may have had.

Let's also not forget that the entire Nightborne society is essentially a hierarchy who look down on lesser races and believe that everyone is beneath them. They would never accept night elves into their society. It'd be like inviting hippies to a party hosted by oil tycoons.

So, I don't get why she's so upset that the night elves don't trust her and furthermore, blizz needs to quit with this BS victim mentality. They KNEW what they were doing when Elisande made her deal, it's not like they were completely oblivious to it otherwise there would have been an uprising long before Thalyssra started it.

At least Occuleth has had some sense to see the choice to join the Horde was wrong. I'm surprised he's still alive (at least I think he is).

Ok, that was a pretty sweet cinematic, and nice to see Liandrin looking like an actual elf again.

1. The Preparations Are Complete - Press on Adventure Guide Shift-J -> Suggested content -> and 'Accept Quest' call [storyline=6050] for storyline to star. Or You can skipp this and go from 2nd quest xD.
2. Hagar's Invitation - Go to Harandar and in main base speak with Orweyna /way 44.11 53.53 inside cave,
3. History Lesson - speak with 6 delegates:
/way 42.15 48.95,
/way 42.65 43.11,
/way 45.56 44.15,
/way 49.82 41.69,
/way 48.40 54.45,
/way 44.39 57.00,
Then speak with Quest giver and Movie will start. After You finish this Quest You will get [item=246731] NICE :D
4. A Favor for Kinduru - Speak with NPCs: /way 44.39 48.03 and /way 49.33 42.11 and/or just with /way 54.44 52.49, After that fly to /way 38.79 46.77,
5. Revisionist History - First press on [npc=255234] /way 37.55 47.71, then slay mobs or heal injured untill 100%. Then go on circle and use skill from extra bar. then wait when will finish quest to get next one.
6. Return to Zul'Aman - when accept quest w8 for portal then enter it.
7. Amani Answers - search 3 boxes in order at first: /way 17.43 20.06, then /way 15.90 21.83, and last /way 19.41 17.20, after press on last one will come out [npc=253833] You need to caught it.
Then Speak with [npc=237301] and collect 2 tools: /way 14.51 18.68, and 2nd tool /way 19.48 19.37, then press on [npc=253833] to fix it.
8. The Tablets of Numazon - Fly to crypt /way 39.19 39.02,
9a. There's the Rub - Collect 6 [item=262654] from ground, You can find them: /way 37.99 36.98, /way 38.54 38.25, /way 37.77 37.88, /way 37.33 37.03, /way 36.90 37.83, /way 37.71 38.66,
9b. Brain Drain - Slay mobs inside crypt and loot from them 6 [item=262659] is around 33% drop rate or 25% xD.
11. Mission to Maisara - Fly to 44.50 36.70
12a. Memories of Malacrass - Slay 3 mobs and use on them bodies spell from extra bar. Location: /way 45.36 38.35 inside cottage, /way 46.50 37.95 inside cave, /way 46.47 41.06 inside
12b. Digging Deeper - Pick up 8 [item=262752], You can find them on tables, inside buldings ect i a lot of them around.
14. Maisara Caverns: Master of Souls - You need to do Dungeon [zone=16395] Safe to do it from NPC side fast and ez, just w8 when conversation will finish and then speak with Zul'jan to start it.
From 2nd boss pick up [item=262791] then slay last boss and get out from dungeon after finish.
15. The Serpent Shrine - Fly to Atal'Aman /way #2536 67.71 47.18,
16. Legacy of the Amani - Slay [npc=253858] then Speak to Kinduru - Movie will start.
17. Dead End - Fly to /way 43.78 68.34, and speak with Zul'jarra then:
- pick up [object=628271] /way 43.61 68.35,
- then on 3 circle next to fire use spell from extra bar.
That will finish Quest and You will get [item=268557]. That is finishing Storyline.
