Korthia is just another Tanaan Jungle.
It's Bliz force disabling flying and then making the landscape into an endless maze of going up and down hills and around pointless obstacles to add empty game play time so they don't have to pay any more money to their offshore content designers.
This becomes really obvious when the only objective to a quest is literally to meet the quest giver on the other side of the map.

Description
There is one final thing we must do. Meet us atop the peak of Hope's Ascent.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Consulting the Experts
We can restore the functions of the Lodestaff, but it will require the wisdom of the Archivists. Not just me, but the Archivists who have come before. They were laid to rest near here.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Finding One's True Purpose
All our efforts have led us here. With the combined wisdom of the Archivists, and a little help from a <race> <class>, we will attune the Lodestaff to the relics that we seek. Should we succeed, we will have what we need to re-establish the Archive. Our sacred work can then continue.
