If you see the quest on your map but dont know where to pick it up, kill mobs in the area that will drop the quest item.
If you cant find the quest giver to turn-in the quest, he appeared for me at the entrance to Seekers Quorum (42 56)
Abandon the quest and do it again if the items are not dropping for you after 5 minutes. The drop rate it not bad unless the quest is bugged.
Seems to be bugged? I got 2 of the quest items, and then since then I've genocided multiple family lines of mawsworn over several days without seeing a single additional one drop

I came here hoping to locate the Fatescribe or something to help me find him. Evidence shows he was here and survived a Mawsworn attack. The only other place I haven't looked is a meditation chamber on the opposite side of the ruins.

I believe the Fatescribe was headed to the Sanctuary of Guidance. A holy place for the attendants of Korthia. Fortunately, because you seem to be in the habit of picking up every piece of trash you find, we have the Fatescribe's Implement! I'm sure that will prove useful in locating him.
