Hooking Over

Hooking Over is a quest for level 60 in Korthia. It is step 9 of 15 in The Last Sigil storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Korthia at 34.9, 35.5. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

I've made some solid hookshots and grapple points. Don't worry--if they hold my weight, they'll hold yours!

They can get us across the chasm to the next anima conduit.

I'll go on ahead and wait for you. No telling what might be lurking over there.

The sooner we get the anima conduit working, the sooner we get into the vault and claim the Primus's sigil.

On the way over to repair the anima conduits, there are yellow dots on the minimap showing where the grapple points are. The grapple points are sort of teal-colored horns sticking up out of the ground. Click the grapple point in the distance, on the island you want to jump to.

Once the objective is complete, the yellow dot markers are gone. On the way back it is possible to choose the "wrong" set of grapple points and go to a more southerly point on the mainland, away from where you turn in the quest. Stick to the grapple points on the northern islands and you'll get back to where you turn in the quest.

Before this quest

  • Lost RecordsKorthia · Level 60

Some of the record keepers fled to this mountain when Korthia was pulled into the Maw. I see no sign of them, but they may have left records behind. Take this beacon. I fashioned it using information from the previous record keepers you rescued.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • To the VaultKorthia · Level 60

Thanks to the Bonesmith's repairs of both conduits, anima should now be flowing to the vault. That gives us a chance to get inside--assuming we can reach it. Our Maldraxxi allies have wrangled transportation to get us to and from the vault. I suggest we make haste.
