The Tauren Statue is the correct choice. It spawns Shade of Skytalon who you have to kill which drops the small key for the treasure chest.
There's a small 'arcane notebook' on the table upstairs that adds some silly flavor on why this puzzle exists in the first place.

To do this riddle:
1. Interact with the [object=402224].
2. Pick up [npc=201426] and use [spell=400130] on [npc=205333] next to [object=402221].
3. Interact with [object=402221] and Choose this statue as telling the truth.
4. When [npc=204430] spawn, kill it and loot [item=205202].
5. Open [object=402216].
1. Shoe claims that dragon is telling the truth.

3. Tauren claims that Shoe is lying
4. Dragon claims that Owl is telling the truth.We know that only one of the 4 statues is telling the truth and the other 3 are lying. Since Shoe and Dragon both claims that another statue is telling the truth, thereby claiming that there are at least 2 statues that are telling the truth, we know that they are both lying. Then it is either Owl or Tauren.
Suppose that Owl is telling the truth, that is, Tauren is lying. Then Shoe is telling the truth, which contradicts the assumption that only one of the 4 statues is telling the truth. Therefore Tauren is telling the truth.If you want to check,
