TheWoWDBIt seems this quest is bugged as of 8.3. Vintner Iltheux no longer gives you credit for jumping on the fruit, but the other parts of the recipe work fine. However, after about 4-5 instructions he just stops talking and you can't complete the quest.

As of 8.3.0.33528 this world quest is still bugged. If you proceed to the "jump in the vat" step, the quest will bug until you run away and reset Vitner Iltheux and start over.
Instead, do this: Talk to Iltheux to start the quest. Stand in front of the ingredients and listen for his instructions to add flowers, water, or shade/fruit. IF HE TELLS YOU TO GET IN THE VAT AND JUMP, do NOT do it. Wait a few seconds and let the quest fail, then talk to him and start over again.
Eventually he will give you a chain of instructions not including jumping in the vat, thus the quest won't bug and you'll be able to complete it. Took me an hour of frustration to figure out what was happening and come up with this solution. It usually works after 3-5 attempts for me. Good luck!
Did this with a corpse lying in the vat. I don't know what to think of that. Squish, squish.
