This artifact has been restored to a remarkably excellent condition. Perhaps you will put it on display at the Seat of Knowledge, so that lorewalkers and archaeologists can study it.

The "?" to turn in the quest is a book that is sitting on the table behind [npc=64922]. It is next to (or behind) a crate that partially hides it from view.
You can have multiple Pristines in your bags/quest log. You don't have to turn in one before you get another one :)
This is why I love WowHead. I was looking for somewhere to turn this quest in and was failing miserably. So a quick search here and the very answer I needed popped up. Thanks to Trecman and WowHead.
“A carefully crated artifact, restored from Archaeology fragments. The archaeologists in Dalaran, Ashran, or at the Seat of Knowledge will be very interested in this.”
“Keystone that can complete Mantid archaeology artifacts with missing fragments.”
Item facts are the current retail client’s (ItemSparse); the specialisations for a pick-one item are the ones the Blizzard quest API lists; faction and currency text is the client’s own. Lowest listed price = the US commodity auction house now.
Its criteria name 8 quests; others include:
Steps, storylines and map placement from the client’s QuestLine, prerequisite and QuestPOI data; neighbouring quest text is Blizzard’s own (quest API), shortened to its opening sentences.
Completing this quest counts toward this achievement.
