To unlock protoform crafting research [order-advancement=1931] and complete [storyline=1285] + [storyline=1293] questlines.

Schematic can be found inside the abandoned Locrian Esper forge. Entrance is under the bridge, coordinates are 55.73 53.41.
After entering the area go to the right and then left. In the large room check the blocked corridor to the left, there is the schematic on the ground.

After bringing the schematic to Protoform Repository you will learn how to create [npc=181547] battle pet.
