You can pick up the breadcrumb quest from your Adventure Guide.

Make sure you go to the Magisters on a character that completed the intro questline.
If you try to get the quest from the magisters on a character that did not complete the intro questline,, the quest npcs wont be there.
(Found this out the hard way so hopefully saving someone some googling and a flight out there).

Description

The nature of the Dawnwell has sparked a question among the minds of Magisters' Terrace: If magic can corrupt and suffuse other magics, how will the Dawnwell affect the ley lines branching out from it? With inquiry, comes experiment. The Ritual Sites in Quel'Thalas use the ley lines to fuel their magic. Disrupt these sites and retrieve samples of the arcana you find.
