As with the old version of this quests, the turtles are found all along the shore.
However, if you did the pre-cata version of this quest, you cannot complete it again if you still have your original Nat Pagle's Extreme Angler FC-5000. (Ye old duplicate found message stops you upon attempted turn in.)
If you want to complete this quest simply to count toward your Hinterlands quest achievement, you must first nuke your old Nat Pagle's Extreme Angler FC-5000.
Happy turtle slayin'!
Quest
Snapjaws, Mon!
A World of Warcraft quest in The Hinterlands. Facts and objectives from the current retail game data.
The highest voted Wowhead comments for this page. They are community notes, not TheWoWDB comments.
Hinterlands is not the most exciting of zones. So long as you are the correct level you can go straight to this NPC as per the map. A single quest with no prerequisite quests, reward is yours and then get yourself hearthed out of there. Hinterlands done!
Except of course if you are on farm for the [item=8704] as the first stage of the quests giving a pet reward.
This quest was not part of the storyline required to go on to Jintha'Alor or Hiri, but you will still need it for the Revantusk Village step for the Hinterlands Quests achievement.

What to do
Description
Don't let their big eyes fool you, mon! Those saltwater snapjaws be a menace. I can't fish for five minutes without getting a broken line from one of those oversized fish vacuums stealing my bait. Do me and the people of Revantusk Village a service and kill em, mon. Kill the whole lot of em!

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Thornar Thunderclash
We've been trying to take out the commander of the Wildhammer encroaching on our lands, but we've had no luck. Thornar Thunderclash sits in the safety of his command post, his voice booming across the battlefield to rally the dwarves. We're thinking he needs to be quieted.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Gammerita, Mon!
Yo! There be a turtle out there not like the others. She be the Gammerita, leader of the saltwater snapjaws - a downright dirty thievin' reptile. Mon, she stole my best lure. Snapped it right off my line! Since then, the fish just aren't biting the same.
