TheWoWDBThe balls are called Practice Balls and look like glowing golden orbs. Use dragon riding to fly through them in order to pick them up. Then the ball will appear in your character's hand and an Extra Action Button will appear.
The Extra Button needs to be used to throw the ball through one of the rings, i.e. goals, around the area. It seems that the button can be used on the ground but also while dragon riding, as long as you are close enough to the goal. Aiming is fairly forgiving.
Some other points to note:
- Flying through a ring while holding a ball does not count as a goal.
- Balls do not respawn immediately - it takes a minute or so maybe.
- Rings can be used multiple times. You could always use the same one if you wanted to.
