TheWoWDBAs of today, this quest feels like it's not tuned very well.
All the undead in the area list as dropping the [item=157833], but the drop rate is terrible.
No mob type seems to drop any better than any other, so be prepared to kill 30+ mobs to get the 6 items you need.Best advice for now, offer a group to anyone you see also doing this quest in the area.....

The drop rate is ridiculous. Killed 33 mobs and only got 4 essences total. I needed two more, killed two mobs at once and they both dropped 4 each... gotta love the RNG.
Badly designed quest to put it mildly. Doesn't mention anything about the Spirit Essence till you try and free them. There is no tooltip showing who drops it. As others have mentioned it's a horrible drop rate.
People seriously get paid for this?
