You can solo this with stealth. You might aggro right before you use the portal, but don't panic, the portal is instant. You start far enough from the boss to wait for the cooldown. Stealth again, and talk to him to get your ring, no aggro from the boss. Jump down and you will be taken back to the entrance, not sure if that counts as a death or not, but a few gold for repair is worth it for these rings.
"Requires level 77" PS. Anyone notice some of these rings seem vastly powerful for their ilvl? These are great rewards.

Description
Malygos and his underlings grow stronger in power with each passing day. And now, our latest assault team has been captured and is being held in the Oculus. We must attempt a rescue! Belgaristrasz and his companions are invaluable to our cause.

In order to reestablish his dominance over magic, the blue Dragon Aspect, Malygos, has launched a ruthless campaign to sever the link between mortals and the arcane energies coursing through Azeroth. To this end, his blue dragonflight is redirecting the ley lines of the world to the Nexus, Malygos' towering lair.
