TheWoWDBThe Keys don't drop specifically from those mobs; I got the muddy key from the stagnose and the sticky key from the sneaky darkfang.
Also, to interact with the stagnose, I had to burrow and then dig right when the orange trail hit me while I was burrowed.

Take right branch and get the first key from an egg like thing at the end of tunnel that you just click on, spider will come out and kill for key. Wandered all over trying to find the other one, killing big snakes that came out of ground when I burrowed (wrong). Burrow through the green stuff in the left branch. Watch for a kind of orange mist running back and forth, this is what you want. Stand in the way of it burrowed, your dig key will highlight as it passes over you, smash it quick and that will pop the guy you need to kill for the second key. Don't bother killing anything you don't need, just a waste of time. Be sure to kill the little mouse at the end of this tunnel for the extra quest.
