What are these "supplies" you speak of? To add to the mystery, the tooltip reads "The "supplies" look empty." The icon is a barrel with green .. goo. I had to look it up.
The breadcrumb to get this quest comes from from Darthalia. Pre Cataclysm, she was under the direct command of Vaimathras who was pretty much Sylvana's 2nd in command, albeit a sketchy one. Of course, we now know that he and Putress were the controlling force of the ambush at the wrathgate.
Lysander once said: "Not long after Arthas condemned us to this wretched existence, we in the Royal Apothecary Society endeavored to create a plague of our own. A plague that would devour all flesh: living, dead or undead."
This quest looks to be yet another link in our clueless involvement of plague quality testing.

Description
The long stretch of coastline directly south of our position that extends from west to east is known as the Western Strand. Along the Western Strand you will find two things: murlocs and our stolen "supplies." <Keyton puts his hands in the air and makes quotation marks with his fingers.> Those damned thieving murlocs struck while our backs were turned and took our "supplies." Sarus and I cannot leave this post. We need you to head to the Western Strand and recover those "supplies!"
