I picked up Myrrit and wandered around using his sniff ability. Found 6 little piles when he says "I smell something un-wormlike" then dug and brought up treasure. Each one had a cheese snack. So I never had to fight the little worms. Very quick quest.
After getting the 6x Pipsee Cheese Snack you can still have Myrrit smell things and dig up worms. None of the loot is useful and all are worth 50c. Nothing of value after digging up all the cheese.
