This quest can be completed by killing any troggs in or around the quarry, as long as they are called "Rockjaw Skullthumpers." This area is packed with them, so completing this quest isn't terribly time consuming.
Be aware that the troggs have a moderate respawn time, so be careful should you go into the cave - it's very likely that you will have to fight your way out, which can be frustrating if you run out of water or food.

What to do
Description
Those Light-blasted troggs, turning my work site into a wreck! Look at that, there goes another barrel of powder! Ohhh, I wish I could go down there and wring every one of their scrawny little necks! I want to kill them all! This can't be good for my health, all this stress and anger... What have they left me with? Nothing! I'd kill them myself, but my aim's no good anymore! You go into the quarry and kill some of the filthy buggers! I'll pay you! Just hurt them, kill them!

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Help for the Quarry
Thank you again for all your help here, <name>. I have a cousin who used to work in the mines beneath the Gol'Bolar Quarry, but he hasn't been able to work since troggs flooded into the mines and took control. The quarry and its camp are just to the southeast of the ranch.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Public Servant
As a member of the Senate and the Explorers' League, I've taken it upon myself to investigate conditions at the quarry. The troggs have run wild! They've made a mess of the Gol'Bolar quarry.
