TheWoWDBThis weekly showed up on my map but I couldn't find the quest giver (Lord Herne) anywhere.
So if you are stuck like me - try completing the quest "Kivarr's Den" or any other quest you might still have in Ardenweald (especially if it's a campaign quest).
For me this was the reason why Lord Herne wasn't at the Heart of the Forest. As soon as I finished it (and 1-2 follow-up campaign quests), Lord Herne was back at the Heart of the Forest.

This is a calling quest. Calling quests encourages players to engage in various content in different areas in Shadowlands. At any time there are 3 callings available, and all players, regardless of Covenant has the same objectives, eventhough the name of the quest can vary.
This specific quest ID is for players who have chosen the Night Fae covenant. The quest is both started and ended at Lord Herne outside the south exit in the covenant sanctum, [zone=12858]. Other players will have the same objectives with the following IDs
- Kyrian players, see Training in Revendreth.
- Necrolord players, see Training in Revendreth.
- Venthyr players, see Training Our Forces.
To complete this quest, complete any 3 world quests in Revendreth. The trainee will automatically appear to fight by your side whenever you move into or close to a world quest in the area while you have this quest.

The dark lands of Revendreth, ruled over by the traitor Denathrius, pose a great risk to us, and a great opportunity for training. Come here, trainee! Today, you hunt with the Maw Walker. Should you return to me, we will celebrate, with a hunt. For tomorrow, we hunt.
