So, doing this quest on a level 50
(120 squished)warlock, I oneshotted Revil. He wouldn't respawn for a while, so I abandoned the quest and re-accepted it.
Once I came back, I saw Revil, but once I entered the house, he disappeared again.The way I did manage to actually get this quest to complete, was standing on the side of the house and adjusting my camera, so that I could talk to Revil from outside.
Selected the interactions to not engage in a fight with him (just the top options a couple times), and I was able to complete the quest and accept the next one.
You can use the portal from Chamber of the Guardian to Karazhan. The fly to Duskwood, Manor Mistmantle located at 77.4 36.6 spot, there's [npc=100323] inside, turn in the quest to him.
