TheWoWDBI tried it twice and was not getting the action button needed to collect the sample and complete the quest.
At that point, I did a "/reload gui" and the action button came up allowing me to complete the quest.

Don't be like me and run through the blight to reset the quest thinking its bugged.
Lilian does NOT stop walking before reaching the mob she need so casters have no time to stop and cast spells. A tank pet is nice as you just need one shoot and the pet takes over.
When quest is turned in I hearthed to Orgrimmar after picking up quest : Consulting our Allies which sends you to Maldraxxus ...

Description
I promised that I would help, and I shall. We need that pure sample of the plague afflicting Lordaeron, but we cannot put anyone else at risk. Come with me. I will call forth a shield of Holy Light to safeguard us deep into the blighted area so that we can collect that sample. This spell will require my full focus. I'll trust you to protect us from anything that might try to stop us. Are you with me?
