TheWoWDBI've solo'd this super easy on my lock and even my arcane mage. Barely beat him on my Arms Warr though and died the first time I tried.
You just have to power him down, I don't see anything you can interrupt or avoid.

Description
If you are going to be amongst the tuskarr, you would do well to lend a hand! As of late, a beast we call Gorger has been making its home nearby. More of its kind seem to be migrating to this area. This is something we can take advantage of. Kill the Gorger and bring me its horns. We'll need them for building supplies to expand this outpost.

on an L69/306 BM, popped superior battle pot, did binding shot and short work. Had freezing and tar traps out but the beast didn't hit them.
