War Prototype

War Prototype is a quest for level 60 in Korthia, added in Shadowlands. It rewards 1 reputation reward.

Description

As Forgelite Prime, I always work to make something better!

But largest centurions, they are much too large to bring to Korthia. This, I fix. Here is Atleos, field colossus prototype. Vanguard of the Kyrian!

It needs testing. More testing. Must be perfect against a powerful opponent.

Go, take Atleos and defeat a great Maw beast! Press all the buttons!

Seems you can complete without ever mounting the vehicle. At least, I did so on one char. (Will verify with the next char.)

Better so, because more often than not it is easier to kill mobs with your char, instead of the clunky vehicle interface.

Edit:

As of 2021-07-29, the above said is partially correct: You can (w/o vehicle) tag Kraxis-ideally while he is fighting some constructs-, then continue with your other quests in the area. To complete the quest, once Kraxis is dead, just enter the vehicle and exit it again.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
