Weapon in Hand

Weapon in Hand is a quest for level 60 in Korthia. It is step 3 of 10 in the An Army of Bone and Steel storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Maw at 63.3, 66.4. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

A moment, <name>.

I threw my axe Dra'gora at Helya during our first encounter in the Maw, and I haven't seen it since. If this is truly where she commands her forces, then perhaps it's held here.

I crafted that weapon in Nagrand, and it reminds me of many good days spent beside my family there. I want to feel its weight in my hands once again.

To complete this quest you need to find Thrall's axe, [item=185772].

To obtain [item=185772] you need to defeat elite mob - [npc=177129].
To find [npc=177129], travel to coordinates - /way 62.1 56.7.
The fight is quite easy, just avoid patrloing elite mobs all around the spot.

The second time in a matter of months that Thrall's lost his weapon and asks someone else to go get it for him. Poor guy's gone a little senile, I think. I mean, you're a mighty and powerful shaman - go get your own damn axe, I'm busy - I've got 15 of these and 25 of those to kill ;)

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Gates of the DamnedKorthia · Level 60

We need to prepare for the assault before we signal Zerekriss. Once it is in place, our allies will use death gates to assault the area. We will need to summon the death gates on this side. Find strategic locations for them.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Clip Their WingsKorthia · Level 60

The skies are dark with Helya's kyrian followers. If we do not thin their numbers, Zerekriss and our aerial allies may have difficulties pushing forward. I've noticed that the Mawsworn often use magical chains. We could turn their equipment against them and tear them down from the sky.
