TheWoWDBCurrently, Numerous quests surrounding the 'Brewfest' event have been reported as not working as intended or bugged, Blizzard is pushing for some hotfixes to come within the next few days, Apparently part of the patch didn't get applied properly and hence the 'Brewfest' disaster.

If you don't pick up the quest "Brewfest" from any of the commoners and instead head right here, the quest IS available. The rewards are exactly the same, but it's still a valid quest.
The Brewfest Organizer can be found down the ramp, outside of Ironforge in a small set up like Octoberfest. Coordinates: 48.0, 39.9.
