Description

Forgive my reaction. You see, the way from Oribos has been closed for quite some time. We did not know if it would ever open again.

I welcome you, noble soul, to Bastion. Your deeds in life have earned you a most glorious fate! You are to become a kyrian, a winged bearer of the dead.

My name is Kleia. It would be an honor to introduce you to our beautiful realm. There is much you must learn before your journey can begin.

This quest is the first quest of Bastion zone quest chain, which leads to The Path to Ascension.
Speak to [npc=166227], (she will become active when you get closer to her) and pick up the quest.
Just let her lead the way, follow her until you get to broken anima golem. There the quest ends.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Seek the AscendedBastion · Level 10-51

When you arrive in Bastion, seek out one of the kyrian. Explain that you require an audience with the Archon. Like the Arbiter, she is one of the Eternal Ones who rule over the Shadowlands. If anyone can guide you to the truth, it is the Archon.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Pardon Our DustBastion · Level 10-51

Ah yes, the Greeter. It seems this Mnemis unit has been deactivated. Anima has been so scarce of late, and with no new souls entering our gates... I suppose it was a prudent measure. Anima is our most precious resource, after all. There are some centurions nearby.

The storyline at a glance
