- Outlier: the crafted item’s lowest listing is 4.2 times its 30-day median of 86 silver, so this estimate rests on a listing far above its usual level.
- Items per craft: the game’s spell data creates 7 per craft, so the listed value of one craft is that many times the lowest listed price.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Crispy Bacon cost 10 gold45 silver. Most of that is Slice of Bacon - 5 at 1 gold64 silver each, 8 gold20 silver, 78.5% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 11 gold per craft, 1 gold57 silver per item at 7 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 3 gold60 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 14 gold75 silver; the Auction House would keep 1 gold26 silver of a sale, leaving 13 gold49 silver. That is an estimated 129.1% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 8.5% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 194 units across 12 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
