Where you hear it

playerinvitea.ogg arrives with the dialog asking whether you want to join someone's group. In the era before automated group finding, that invite could take an hour of looking-for-group spam to earn. It still plays for invites from friends, guildmates and premade group leaders. The cue is upbeat and quick, inviting you to click accept. It works neatly as a 'join me' notification for any chat app.

TriggerPlays when another player invites you to a party and the accept/decline dialog appears.

  2. Open Settings, System, Sound, More sound settings, then the Sounds tab.
  3. Pick an event such as Notification, click Browse, choose the WAV, then Apply.

OBS alert

  1. Download the MP3 above.
  2. In your alert tool (Streamlabs or StreamElements) set it as the alert sound file.
  3. Or in OBS add a Media Source with the MP3, untick Loop, and fire it with a hotkey.
