Fire Breath

If you are like me and having troubles getting this spell to work, just make a macro with the spell (/cast Fire Breath) and use that as your button.

I had trouble getting this to work from my action bar for the intro quest, "The FIre WIthin". I had to click it in my spell book and then push down and release on my action bar to stop empowering the spell. Couldn't find the quest here, or I would have put this comment there. Hope this helps someone!

Some tips:
1. The spell deals the same total damage at all empowerment levels, each level shifts how much damage is front loaded (instant) and or DoT (duration)
2. In most scenarios, you want to cast a level 1 fire breath
- Burnout Talent: Dealing damage with fire breath has a chance to proc instant living flame casts, the longer duration of the DoT means more ticks, which means more chances to proc
- Catalyze: Channeling Disintegrate causes fire breath to deal damage twice as often; this stacks with the above talent to double the chance at instant living flame casts but only works while the DoT is active (longer DoT > shorter DoT)
2b. The exception is during Dragonrage; after starting dragonrage, you will want to "Tip the Scales" either Fire Breath (few-targets) or Eternity Surge (3+ targets) and level 1 cast the other.
- Feed the Flames: Consuming essence burst lowers the CD of fire breath, and since dragonrage guarantees essence bursts, you will refresh the DoT from Fire Breath before a Level 1 finishes, so we empower with Tip the Scales.
- Causality: Using Essence abilities (regardless of essence burst) lowers the CD of Eternity Surge
- Animosity: Casting either Fire Breath or Eternity Surge extend the duration of Dragonrage by 6 seconds
--- The combination of these 3 talents allows you to extend Dragonrage from 14 seconds to 38-44 seconds. (fit 2-3 casts of fire breath + 2 casts of eternity surge). I am not sure if it is possible to get a 3rd cast of eternity surge but I have gotten very close with fire breath. With enough procs of Hoarded Power (more free essence burst) and Haste, I believe a 3rd fire breath is possible.
