Prowl

It appears that druids prowl is now better than a rogues stealth.

This is actually incorrect, though it is a very common misconception of the abilities BECAUSE!
Most people look at Stealth and just see Apply Aura: Stealth Value: 40
and then look at Prowl and see Apply Aura: Stealth Value: 50
These are the base values you get at the level you can learn the ability.
You also receive 5 value per level gained after learning the ability.
(which is why it's easier to detect lower level rogues than higher level rogues)
Soooo....

For Rogues!
a level 5 rogue has 40 stealth value
a level 6 rogue has 45 stealth value
a level 10 rogue has 65 stealth value
a level 15 rogue has 90 stealth value
a level 85 rogue has 440 stealth value

For Druids! [and Ferals who have [spell=87335] (value 15)
a level 5 druid doesn't know Prowl!
a level 6 druid doesn't know Prowl!
a level 10 druid has a 50 stealth value [65 feral]
a level 15 druid has 75 stealth value [90 feral]
a level 85 druid has 425 stealth value [440 feral]

So before modifiers, a rogue of equal level to a druid will always have a greater than or equal level of stealth

Prowl ability will receive a new unique icon in 4.1. Night Elf Druids will no longer confuse Prowl with Shadowmeld.
