WoW Forever Druid Guide
The Druid has no deep dive yet, but the notes show a Feral rework in progress: Mangle became Primal Bite, Tiger's Fury is gone, and a new Shifting Power talent turns Mana into Energy. Wild Growth caps Restoration, Improved Mark of the Wild is baseline, and both Skyborne races can be Druids.

What changed for the Druid in Forever
Blizzard has not published a Druid deep dive. These are the Druid changes from the September 13 deep dive recap and the beta development notes (September 24 and October 1 updates). Each line links to its source.
- Improved Mark of the Wild is baseline. [Blizzard, September 13, 2026]
- Rejuvenation, Tranquility and Wild Growth can crit. Wrath's base damage is about 50% higher. Thorns scales with spell power. [Blizzard blue post, September 24, 2026]
- Feral: Mangle was renamed Primal Bite and lost its debuff. Primal Fury was renamed and given the original Blood Frenzy icon. [Blizzard blue post, September 24, 2026]
- Bear Form and Dire Bear Form get 75% more Rage from critical strikes. Swipe scales with 3% of Attack Power. All forms are immune to Disarm. Faerie Fire no longer resets your swing timer. [Blizzard blue post, October 1, 2026]
- Feral: Tiger's Fury and King of the Jungle were removed, Primal Bite's threat roughly doubled, and the new Shifting Power (Cat Form only, 16 second cooldown) converts 55% of base Mana into 40 Energy. Improved Shifting Power takes 4 or 8 seconds off its cooldown. [Blizzard blue post, October 1, 2026]
What the beta client shows
Our own read of the client tables. Blizzard has not posted these, so treat them as beta data that can change.
- The trait snapshots show the Feral change landing between beta builds 70124 and 70170: King of the Jungle left the tree, Shifting Power and Improved Shifting Power joined it, and Shredding Attacks moved up a row.
- Lacerate is a trainer spell from level 42. Frenzied Regeneration is a single rank (three in Classic Era). Faerie Fire (Feral) and Tiger's Fury are no longer in the class list.
Druid talent trees in the beta
The Druid has three trees and 51 talent points at level 60, one per level from 10. Each tree opens a new row every 5 points. The 1-point picks behind the 10, 15, 20 and 30 point gates are the milestones Blizzard talks about: the 11, 16, 21 and 31 point talents. [Blizzard, September 30, 2026] The text below is the client's own tooltip at full rank, from build 1.60.1.70205. Plan a build in the Druid talent calculator.
Balance
The caster tree. Its milestones are Nature's Splendor, Insect Swarm, Nature's Grace and Moonkin Form, which now also gives your party 3% critical strike chance. The tree has 16 talents worth 46 ranks; the first row is Improved Wrath, Genesis.
| Point | Milestone talent | What it does (client text) |
|---|---|---|
| 11 | Increases the duration of your Moonfire and Rejuvenation spells by 3 sec, your Regrowth spell by 6 sec, and your Insect Swarm spell by 2 sec. | |
| 16 | The enemy target is swarmed by insects, decreasing their chance to hit with attacks by 2% and causing 48 Nature damage over 12 sec. | |
| 21 | All non-periodic spell criticals grace you with a blessing of nature, increasing your spellcasting speed and reducing your global cooldown by 10% for 3 sec. | |
| 31 | Shapeshift into Moonkin Form, increasing Omen of Clarity's chance to trigger by 100%, Armor contribution from items by 360%, and all party members within 45 yards have their Critical Strike chance increased by 3%, exclusive with Leader of... |
Feral Combat
The cat and bear tree. Its milestones are Feral Charge, Primal Bite and the new Shifting Power (both at 16 points), Leader of the Pack and the new Berserk, which lets Primal Bite hit up to 3 targets. The tree has 20 talents worth 51 ranks; the first row is Ferocity, Heart of the Wild.
| Point | Milestone talent | What it does (client text) |
|---|---|---|
| 11 | Requires Bear Form, Dire Bear Form Charge an enemy, immobilizing them and interrupting any spell they are casting for 4 sec. | |
| 16 | Instantly convert into X Energy. Shifting Power's cost is reduced by effects that reduce the cost of Shapeshifting. | |
| 16 | Bite the target, dealing 100% normal damage plus 26 and generating a high amount of threat. | |
| 21 | While in Cat Form, Bear Form, or Dire Bear Form, the Leader of the Pack increases the critical strike chance of all party members within 45 yards by 3%, exclusive with Moonkin Aura. | |
| 31 | Reuires Cat Form, Bear Form, Dire Bear Form Causes your Primal Bite ability to strike up to 3 targets, removes its cooldown, and increases the critical strike chance of your Combo Point-generating abilities by 100%. |
Restoration
The healing tree. Its milestones are Gift of the Earthmother, Swiftmend, Nature's Swiftness and the new Wild Growth, a party heal over time. The tree has 16 talents worth 51 ranks; the first row is Nature's Focus, Furor.
| Point | Milestone talent | What it does (client text) |
|---|---|---|
| 11 | Reduces the global cooldown by 0.5.1 seconds on your Rejuvenation, Swiftmend, and Wild Growth spells. | |
| 16 | Instantly heals a target with an active Rejuvenation or Regrowth effect for an amount equal to the full duration of the periodic effect of one of those spells. | |
| 21 | When activated, your next Nature spell becomes an instant cast spell. | |
| 31 | Heals the target and their party for 280 over 7 sec. Party members must be of target. The amount healed is applied quickly at first, and slows down as Wild Growth reaches its full duration. |
Changed between beta builds
We hold 5 snapshots of the Druid trees (70009, 70058, 70124, 70170, 70205). These are the differences, oldest first. Wording-only fixes are left out.
- 70124 to 70170: added Improved Shifting Power (Feral Combat); added Shifting Power (Feral Combat); removed King of the Jungle (Feral Combat); Shredding Attacks (Feral Combat) moved row 4 to row 3; Moonkin Form (Balance) changed from "Transforms the Druid into Moonkin Form. While in this form, the armor contribution from items is increased by 360%, Omen of Clarity gains 100% increased chance..." to "Shapeshift into Moonkin Form, increasing Omen of Clarity's chance to trigger by 100%, Armor contribution from items by 360%, and all party members within 45...".
Changes for every class
These apply to every class, so they change how you play a Druid too.
- Talents open at level 10 and use the same number of rows as Classic. The 1-point milestone talents at 11, 21 and 31 points in a tree are joined by a new 16-point milestone. [Blizzard, September 30, 2026]
- Dual Specialization unlocks at level 40. Talents, including Legacy talents, are changed at a class trainer in a major city. [Blizzard, September 30, 2026]
- Talents that used to hand out a key group buff are now baseline: Divine Spirit (Priest), Blessing of Kings (Paladin) and Improved Mark of the Wild (Druid). [Blizzard, September 13, 2026]
- Spell, melee and ranged hit chance are one stat now, and so are spell, melee and ranged critical strike chance. [Blizzard, September 13, 2026]
- Bonus healing also gives one third as much bonus damage, so healers are not stuck when questing. [Blizzard, September 13, 2026]
- Weapon skill works as before, but items give less of it per item. Some items add a new stat that lowers the chance for your attacks to be dodged or parried, and caster weapons carry spell damage and healing. [Blizzard, September 13, 2026]
- Riding follows the Burning Crusade model: the cost moves into riding training and you get a mount when you learn the skill. [Blizzard, September 13, 2026]
- Each race now has two active and two passive racial abilities, tuned to give a similar amount of offensive power. [Blizzard, September 13, 2026]
Druid spells by level, 1 to 30
Every Druid spell rank the beta client (1.60.1.70205) lists from level 1 to 30, the level cap of the beta. Read from the client's SkillLineAbility and SpellLevels tables on the class skill lines. Spells marked talent need the talent first; the level is the level the client requires. Training costs are set on the server and are not in the client.
Druid spells changed from Classic Era
The beta class spell list (1.60.1.70205) compared with Classic Era (1.15.9.70003), levels 2 to 60, matched by spell name. A renamed spell shows up once as removed and once as new. Passive form auras and helper records are left out.

Field by field changes to every Druid spell (damage, costs, cooldowns) are on the Druid spell changes page.
Races that can be a Druid
The beta client (1.60.1.70170) allows 4 races to be a Druid. "New" means the pair is not in the Classic Era client (1.15.9.69722). Blizzard can still switch a pair off on its servers. All pairs are on the races and classes page.
| Race | Faction | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Night Elf | Alliance | Also in Classic Era |
| Tauren | Horde | Also in Classic Era |
| High Order Skyborne | Alliance | New race in Forever |
| Windshaper Skyborne | Horde | New race in Forever |
Not known yet
We do not publish guesses. These wait for launch or for Blizzard to say more:
- Stat priorities. Itemization is still moving in the beta, and Blizzard has posted no stat weights.
- Best in slot lists. The two new raids in the client (Hyjal Summit and Barrow Deeps) have encounter names but no loot data yet.
- Raid roles and group makeup at 60. The beta stops at level 30.
- Training costs. Trainer prices are set on the server and are not in the client files.
- How the reworked Feral tree performs at 60, in Cat and in Bear Form.
