You don't need to be a mage or anything fancy. Just get enough gear so that you can burst G'huun while he's still in the wall.

For reference, I'm an iLvl 590 feral druid, and I easily burned him on normal. I killed the adds just because I didn't want convoke to target something other than the boss, but yeah, it really only takes a few seconds to get this now with little to no fuss.

Hey. Just got my Achievement today.

Mages Blink does NOT make it fail.
Monks transcendence DOES make it FAIL.

Haven't check Void elves Spatial Rift .

Killed it with 2 tanks, 3 healers, 10 dps in normal difficulty. Our ilvl was 365-380. We were sending orb groups in pairs.

If you are having decent ilvl and doing it in normal you are able to run orbs only in phase 1 and do not touch them in phase 2, just kill the boss. And you will get your achi.
