Geologist's Ledger: Dragon Isles

Final edit: I finally got it. I am now convinced - based on other comments and my own experience - that the [item=194039] and [item=194062] are completely independent from the [item=202011], despite sharing an entry in the mining journal. The method I outlined below works for getting [item=194039] and [item=194062], but not for [item=202011] - for this you need to first get all of your [item=201300] and [item=201301] for the week, and then keep going and eventually you will get the [item=202011] from a finesse proc (it took me almost 100 nodes and many finesse/perception procs to get it after I looted [item=201301]). I personally avoided all Primal, Molten, and Hardened nodes in case the 3 stones shared a weekly cap or something (these nodes are the ones that drop the heater ore/unyielding chunk), but I don't know for sure if that is necessary.

Edit: about 8 weeks in and my method below still works every week, but I have not managed to loot the charged stone...always heated ore or unyielding stone. I have heard of people getting the charged stone off finesse (or maybe perception?) procs on any kind of node.

There are three elemental knowledge items that seem very RNG - [item=202011] (which is for this achievement), [item=194039], and [item=194062].

Various comments have speculated that these have a weekly or character cap. And despite sharing an entry in the mining journal, you MUST get the [item=202011] for achievement credit.

My personal experience has been that I get one of the elemental items in my first 2-3 elemental nodes per week, and then none. And it's a toss up which one you get - week 1 I got a Heated, week 2 I got another Heated, and this week I got a Heated AND an Unyielding in the SAME NODE (second node of the week). Note that every week I did hundreds of nodes trying to farm this achievement and saw none of these elemental knowledge items after the first few nodes.

Ok after trying to get the [item=202011] since the beginning of the patch on 3 alts I was finally able to get it today.

What NOT to do:
Hardened Serevite Deposit - they drop [item=194062].
Molten Serevite Deposit - they drop [item=194039].
Primal Serevite Deposit - they drop [item=194039].

What TO do:
Farm all the other nodes until you loot [item=201301] (this seems to be the requirement in order to loot [item=202011]).
Then farm Serevite Deposit / Rich Serevite Deposit / Titan-Touched Serevite Deposit (I got [item=202011] in a couple of nodes after looting [item=201301] in a Rich Serevite Deposit).

Additional info:
How to get [item=201301] - you need to loot 5x [item=201300] and then you can loot [item=201301] from ANY node but avoid the ones mentioned above.
I had WM OFF.
I was max level (70) and I only had max level Dragon Isles mining (100), no specialization no equipment no flask.
I did not use Overload Elemental Deposit on the node.

This part of the achievement was a pain in the a## and I hope this comment helps you guys out and saves time!

I honestly do not know what i am doing wrong. I just can't loot the elementally charged stone. I try with 3 miners every week. I even followed the advice to only mine the primal and serveit ones but i never get anything out of the serevit nodes. Like i can farm serveit/rich serevite nodes for HOURS and i dont get any items from them.

Man the gather profession achievements suck and are not fun at all.

EDIT 2:

I finally got it and it was indeed from a serevite node. Just farm serevite nodes and ignore the hardened, molten and primal ones. My mistake was to not ignore the primal ones.
