In the Hot Seat

To earn In the Hot Seat you need to find and survive [npc=170548]'s wrath.

[npc=170548] is a very tricky rare to kill. There are two ways to prepare to kill it: long and short :)

Long way:

1. 
   
2. Step 1: You should join Kyrian covenant
3. 
   
4. Step 2: Upgrade Trial of Ascension scenario up to tier 4 to unlock trials of wisdom.
5. 
   
6. Step 3: Complete Trial of Ascension scenario quests and boss fights until Kalisthene trial of wisdom unlocks.
7. 
   
8. Step 4: Defeat Kalisthene (Wisdom) to obtain [item=183761] and craft one or a couple.
9. 
   

Short way:

• Step 1: Go and buy [item=180445] at AH if someone sells it.
• 
  

Make your way to 60.04 93.97 (Bastion) and click to Ancient Memorial to get [spell=332309]
Now go to 61.37 82.67 and wait for rare (if its alive ofc). Jump down, use [item=180445] and interact to [npc=170548].

While riding it rapidly press [spell=332510] extra button. You will get damage while on the rare, so dont waste time.
When [npc=170548] gets calm, it will carry you to the place where you got the [spell=332309]. You will get In the Hot Seat achievement.
Now you can talk to rare and accept its challenge. The fight starts, rare is tough. Bring its hp down to 10% to pass the challenge.
I got only anima from it, now mount. So, drop chance is not 100% or just a beta glitch (or there's another puzzle lol).

As a Necrolord, I'm not seeing this achievement under my exploration tab. I take it this is only visible to Kyrian members, seeing as I have a couple that are tied to the Abomination Factory. Could any Kyrian confirm this to be true?

As a Kyrian, I'm not seeing it either. It has, however, been implemented, under Exploration --> Shadowlands. It seems to be a hidden achievement worth ten points.
