Some facts about Archaeology

1. I did get that mount from archaeology

2. Look at map

3. People know - No one has the same dig sites

4. You do need to fly from Tanaris to Winterspring and viceversa if archae wants.

5. Dig up fragmets till u get 100 skill, dont be stupid like me "OH 35/35 LEMME SEE IF I GET A COOKIE". Will be easier and quickier to get higher skill

6. Artifacts proccs (as i call them) are random, some ppl make Fossil Raptor at 100 skill some ppl at 450(ye im talking about myself :D)

7. Fossiled Minipet is cute

8. Artifacts cannot be inside buildings(never had inside tho) but can be in destroyed houses, ruins etc etc.

9. Survey gives xp for each looting, 80 lvl ~ 5k; 81~7k, 82~10k, 83~12k, 84~15k (for me + guild perk 5%)

10. I bet u wanna get super rare items, and happy diggin, haunting, and yes good luck.

P.S Thank you Blizzard for last relic of argus! :D

At skill 300 u can survey in outland. Its a pain to get there but its worth it. Flying around all of azeroth to get there was realy boring, especialy when u have 3 survey spots in plaguelands and ur located in southern stranglethorn -.-

Allso every class etc that u can pic up fragments from can give u a "special" item. For example night elf gives a "binds to account" rope, and this things give you the achievment i had it in my hands and titel if u complet it that is. The robe recuires 100 fragments

At 375, you're able to go to Northrend locations and start hunting for artifacts over yonder. I was already level 85 when I picked this profession up, so I'd decided to pass on going there and stuck with continuing Archaeology within the Eastern Kingdoms until I hit max. Going too many places at once makes me discombobulated at the best and worst of times.

If you do travel to Northrend, and you plan on staying there for a while, you can get away with setting your [item=6948] to Dalaran. That way if you're far off from the next dig site, hearthing to Dal will at least get you somewhat closer.
