Mecha-Done

This is a horrible Meta. Many aspects of this are purely RNG reliant on drops from rares. There is no finish line in sight so to speak and is literally up to the RNG gods how quickly you do or don't complete these achievements.
The Leachbeast mechanic is a prime example of how the planets must align for you to loot what you need to complete this Meta.
Needs either drop chances increasing or some rework because as it stands its horrible.

This achievement is aptly named, because by the time you complete it, you will never want to return to Mechagon ever again.

seems online community consensus is for Blizzard to bump up the drop rate for
Vinyl: Triumph of Gnomeregan (<- click here for related rants, regarding regrets) needed for this achievement.
This .5% drop rate totally puts this achievement in the realm of irrational.
why have a .5% drop rate a single requirement on top of a plethora of quest lines and other actual goal based achievements?

It is easier to get the comparable mount from rustfeather (also a .5% drop rate) using alts rather than complete this achievement (which i have).
It makes me wonder if this got confused with classic wow, where the difficulty for anything is comparably challenging.

How does one call an achievement by sitting on a mob for months waiting for a drop ,the player can just show up and tag it.
this form of achievement is nothing more than an attendance award...
