Missed 'Em by That Much

This achievement takes place during the 3rd phase of the encounter and despite how the achievement is worded not everyone needs to be alive by that point to get the achievement.

In Phase 3 the boss will cast [spell=444306] on two people, dropping portals at their locations after a short time. Stepping on one portal takes you to the other and vice versa, exactly like the portals on Artificier Xy'mox back in Shadowlands. These portals are used to avoid the damage as the ring from [spell=445422] collapses towards the boss.

For the achievement you'll want to place one portal close to the middle, and one farther out on the opposite side of the boss as seen in this raidplan. You'll probably want to drop markers ahead of time and the person going far has to clear a lot of distance in a short time so they need to be ready to move and know where to go.

Once you've placed the portals simply wait for a [spell=445422] cast and take the portals to travel underneath the boss and dodge the ring. If you do it right the boss should gain as many stacks of the [spell=454843] buff as you have players in your raid. Dead players automatically give a stack but all living players must travel under her, so don't skip the ring using another method like immuning or blinking.

Also your portal placement doesn't have to be perfect by any means. Ours were pretty far out one pull and it seems pretty forgiving so just try to get opposite sides of the boss as best you can.

This achievement is part of the Glory of the Nerub-ar Raider

This achievement is earned during the third phase of the boss fight with [npc=219778]. If players die before getting to the third phase, no worries, as long as everyone that’s still alive does what they’re supposed to.

In phase 3 the boss will cast [spell=443915] on two players, which will eventually drop portals that will be used to avoid [spell=445422], the blue shrinking circle which kills players if they stay inside or run over the circle’s edge. Players with the portals need to drop them opposite each other, so that when used, players will cross over the hole in the middle of the platform and at the same time cross underneath the boss. Try to place the one that will be used to cross close to the edge, and the other place it a bit further away to be sure that everyone teleports outside the circle (positions shown in the video). When Frothing Gluttony is cast, all players need to cross over when the circle is just about to reach them, exiting the circle safely, and the boss will gain stacks of the [spell=454843] debuff times the number of players in the raid. Players that were dead before this phase will also give the boss this debuff. After crossing over and the achievement is met, continue the fight and defeat the boss.

Dead players automatically count for the achievement (we had a person dead who didn't go through the portal and we still got it)

Also sidenote, when you drop the portals, make sure you're facing AWAY from the hole in the middle
