You have to stay dancing for 4-5 seconds before it will count one of the furnaces.

You'll have fireworks pop up when it's counted.

Is this a joke? That's the only logic that makes sense as to why this quest has STILL not appeared. US 8/31/21

You dont need to accept The Ember Count to complete it.

use /dance near them to receive credit.

You're able to mount and attack while holding the Mawproof Parasol, so you can just rush to the forges and complete the achievement in a few minutes. Make sure to track the achievement, as you will need to dance near the forges for a few seconds for them to count towards completion. If you lose your parasol for any reason, just run back to Grubbins and pick another one.
