Considering how this is worded, this achievement is going to work exactly how the previous incarnations did during all of Dragonflight, meaning that this will be obtainable even after this season and this expansion are over. Although, in the future, the only way to obtain it will be by killing Mythic Ansurek.

If I do it during season 2 of TWW? Thanks
Ah, glad this works like Deep Cuts From the Vault for DF S1 (where I got downvoted to hell for suggesting the same, based on the exact same phrasing) -- and it seems the the equivalent DF S2 and S3 achievements were changed to be obtainable later on! It was weird when these were phrased to be time-limited (but it might be that they continued to be available later on during Dragonflight anyway, not sure)
