This item is already equipped in the Gnomish Army Knife, which has, Gyromatic Micro-Adjuster, Blacksmith hammer, mining pick, Arclight spanner, skinning knife and a few other things I believe.

It actually doesn't have a skinning knife. That probably makes sense when you consider how amusing it is the thought of a gnome using a tiny army knife to try to skin a huge beast! Also, don't expect the Nose Picker and the Back Scratcher to work as advertised...

It is listed under Parts, although I think it should be listed under Miscellaneous, where Arclight Spanner is listed.

No, it shouldn't, as this item isn't equippable.

No...a "part" is an item that something is made from, i.e. a reagent for something. This is clearly a tool like the arclight spanner. Miscellaneous should be renamed "Tools".

Miscellaneous is a category of weapon, not Engineering crafted item, which is how Arclight Spanner earned it's place there, as would Blacksmith's Hammer, etc. +1 for creating a tools section though.

Somehow this didn't show up in my engineering tab, searching for 'adjuster' or 'gyro'. So I visited several engineering trainers but they couldn't learn it to me. They only had recipes from the other direction gnomisch/goblin that I couldn't learn. I finally found out that I allready knew how to make it: it is listed under 'tools'. You need 4 steel bars, made from 4 iron bars and 4 coals.

Requires level 175 engineering.

Sometimes you make 11 of these before realizing you only needed one.

The new profession equipment no longer requires Engineers to have [item=5956], [item=6219], or [item=10498] in their inventory or equipped as profession equipment.

Wormhole Generator: Northrend required me to have these items. Nothing else did.

This is now a much needed item for all old xpac decor items....
