Adventure Guide Entry
The in-game Adventure Guide text for the Grubbis encounter in Gnomeregan.
The radioactive gas that flooded the city was meant to anger the troggs and kill the gnomes, and Thermaplugg's plan was brutally effective. One trogg, however, reacted oddly to the substance: Grubbis grew. It was a side effect that Sicco had not anticipated, but he's never been one to waste valuable (and dangerous) resources. This giant trogg now patrols the tunnels of Gnomeregan. His loyal basilisk pet, Chomper, helps Grubbis sniff out gas leaks, tasty fungi, and even tastier intruders.
What Each Drop Is
The Grubbis encounter lists 4 items in the dungeon journal, item level 18. Equip slots covered: Waist, Hands, Head and Legs. Every piece binds when picked up, so none of it reaches the Auction House.
- Chomper-Hide Belt Waist (Leather), item level 18, requires level 11. Bind on Pickup. Stats: Agility or Intellect, Stamina, Critical Strike and Versatility. A vendor pays 43 silver30 copper for it.
- Grubbis Paws Hands (Plate), item level 18, requires level 11. Bind on Pickup. Stats: Strength or Intellect, Stamina, Critical Strike and Haste. A vendor pays 41 silver18 copper for it.
- Grubbis' Protective Pail Head (Mail), item level 18, requires level 11. Bind on Pickup. Stats: Agility or Intellect, Stamina, Versatility and Critical Strike. A vendor pays 64 silver69 copper for it.
- Shabby Trogg Britches Legs (Cloth), item level 18, requires level 11. Bind on Pickup. Stats: Intellect, Stamina, Critical Strike and Haste. A vendor pays 85 silver80 copper for it.
Read from the current game build's item data. Listed prices come from our latest US Auction House scan; a drop that binds when picked up never has one.
