A Key To Reforg(ing)

Weaponsmith Koref gives me the quest but then I don't get an extra action button like in the video. Guessing it is because I'm in the original phase of this area since I never quested here.

Edit: I went and found [npc=198720] who was able to skip me ahead to having the area phase updated. The quest worked correctly after that.

The Obsidian Citadel quests MUST be done or skipped (the bronze dragon sitting near the throne if this is an alt) beforehand to be in the right phase. (I.E. you can pick to align with Sabellian or Wrathion.) If it's relatively empty near the forge, then you're not in the right phase. (there was 2 big elites in front of the forge with the quest giver)

Usually I never comment on stuff, but this time you guys deserve it.

This Quest is HEAVILY bugged if you do it with any alts that did not quest dragonflight AND are Level 80.
I recently figured this out by trial and error and let me tell you its completely #$%^&*ed what we players have to do in order to work around bugs that HAVE TO be INSTANT fixed by blizzard or any game developer. The fact that we have to do the following is a shame for blizzard and just proves that this company doesnt care at all for QOL changes to keep players in the game. Better give us another 90$ mount.

In the following I will describe how I managed to acquire all the neccessary steps in order to complete this quest while:

- being level 80
- being on an alt that did NOT quest dragonflight
- being on "Clue 10: Forging is Key" for the achievement for Whodunnit? - AND NOT being able to proceed with the forge.
- NOT seeing "Kalendormu" to skip the citadel stuff to get into the right phase for the forge.

Kalendormu is not visible for alts that are > Level 70.
- Therefore create a second WoW-Account
- On this 2nd acc you create a vulpera (spawns in OG)
- invite your Vulpera from the second account into a group with your char that is on the quest
- Party Sync them so they are 70 (dont choose a timeline, very important)
- Go to "Obsidian Bulwark" flightpoint in the waking shores
- The NPC "Kalendormu" will now be visible and allows you to skip the intro campaign to the citadel.
- Leave the group with your 2nd account
- Proceed with the quest for the secret.
- Dear Blizzard, start caring about your customers so they will stay in your heavily bugged game - short money is never the answer and stop wasting my time figuring this !@#$ out. Respect my time as a customer because normal, average and casual players that have 0 knowledge about these mechanics will just waste their time without people like me.
